Heyward Community Forest

The Heyward Community Forest is a 144 acre tract of land owned by the City of Charlottesville near the Ragged Mountain Natural Area. The city acquired the property through a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, with assistance from the Piedmont Environmental Council. [1]
