Gus K. Tebell was a former member of the Charlottesville City Council [1] He served one term as President of the Council (mayor).

1946 election

Tebell and Roscoe Adams were the winners in the 1946 election for City Council. [2]

1950 election

Tebell was the top vote-getter in the April 4, 1950 Democratic Primary. [3] He and William R. Hill were elected. [4]

Actions

Tebell was the lone vote against hiring James E. Bowen as the city manager in June 1948. [5]
