Grove Square was a planned series of mixed-use residential blocks planned by Mitchell/Mathews Architects and Urban Planners for construction in Fifeville near the University of Virginia's Medical Center. There are a total of four sections, three of which have been rezoned to the Cherry Avenue mixed-use corridor and for which a site plan has been approved.
A fourth parcel was not rezoned.
However, the University of Virginia purchased the property in August 2016 but currently have no plans to develop the land. A portion of the building at 999 Grove Street is currently occupied by the
