JABA FISH at Jackson-Via

The Jefferson Area Board for Aging's Friends in School Helping or FISH program is an inter-generational volunteer tutor/mentor program in Charlottesville, VA. Jackson-Via Elementary School is one of the FISH program locations in Charlottesville's elementary schools.[1]

"Want to make a difference in a child's life? You can by being a FISH tutor/mentor. Volunteer one hour a week during the academic year at a public elementary school near you or at JABA's new preschool, Shining Star, located on Hillsdale Drive. Training is ongoing. For more information, contact the FISH Leadership Team at 434-817-5289 or fish@jabacares.org."[2]
