Emmett Boaz is a long-time DJ on WTJU who passed away during while on the air on November 6, 2010[1]. Boaz was the co-host of Leftover Biscuits since 1996, but briefly resigned in the summer of 2010 due to proposed changes to the station's format.

Biography

Boaz was born in 1947 and was raised in Covesville. He received a degree in English literature from Marshall University and worked for a time as a middle school teacher[1]. He then worked as the manager of a 7-11 on Woodbrook Drive.
