The Eastern Albemarle Sub-Area Study is a transportation study coordinated by VDOT, the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission and Albemarle County regarding U.S. Route 250 in eastern Albemarle.

Among the study's recommendations were improving the intersection of U.S. 250 and North Milton Road and constructing a roundabout or traffic signal at the intersection of U.S. 250 and Glenmore Way, at the edge of the Village of Rivanna designated growth area east of the I-64 exit.
