Duane H. Zobrist is an attorney[1] serving his second term on the Albemarle County Planning Commission. He was named as the commission's chair on January 11, 2011.

Biography

Zobrist moved to Albemarle in 2001 and lives in Crozet[2].

Planning Commission

Zobrist first served on the Commission as the representative from the White Hall Magisterial District, appointed in September 2006 by Supervisor David Wyant (R) to complete the term of Jo Higgins, who moved out of the county[2]. Zobrist served until December 31, 2007, the conclusion of Wyant's term on the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors.

Zobrist was again appointed to the Commission in January 2010, this time to fill the at-large seat[3].
