Duane Zobrist was named as the at-large member of the Albemarle County Planning Commission in January 2010. He formerly served on the commission as the representative from the White Hall Magisterial District. He as appointed to that post in September 2006 by Supervisor David Wyant (R-White Hall) to complete the term of Jo Higgins who moved out of Albemarle County.[1] Zobrist served until December 31, 2007, the conclusion of Wyant's term on the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors.
