In September 2006, Duane Zobrist was appointed to the Albemarle County Planning Commission by Supervisor David Wyant (R-White Hall) to complete the term of Jo Higgins who moved out of Albemarle County.[1] Zobrist served until December 31, 2007, the conclusion of Wyant's term on the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors.
