Douglas Walker will become Albemarle County's Assistant County Executive for Community Services on April 1, 2013. He replaces Bryan Elliott, who retired in late 2012. [1]

Biography
Prior to being named to his Albemarle post, Walker was county administrator in Shenandoah County and has also served as city manager in Waynesboro. [1]
