Dick Woods Road is a scenic secondary road in western Albemarle County. In July 2013, a portion of the road near Ragged Mountain Road collapsed when two culverts were washed away by heavy rain.[1]

Course

Dick Woods Road begins in Ivy at an intersection with U.S. Route 250 and travels west. The road is paved until Miller School Road near Batesville where it becomes gravel and continues to Virginia State Route 151 in Afton.[2]

Recreation

Dick Woods Road is a popular road for running in the county and used frequently by the Western Albemarle Cross Country team and the Charlottesville Track Club marathon training program.[3]
