Republican David Bowerman served on the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors from 1989 to 2005, representing the Rio Magisterial District. Bowerman continues to speak in public. In February 2007, he spoke to the League of Women Voters in Charlottesville/Albemarle on the topic of global warming. [1]
