The [[Curry School of Education and Human Development]] at the [[University of Virginia]] was founded in 1905 after philanthropist John D. Rockefeller Sr. made a $1 million gift to UVa. In November 2018, school official announced it would consider renaming the school because Curry was connected to the Confederacy and slavery. On [[November 19]], [[2019]], the school launched a website on his life and that of [[William Henry Ruffner]].
