Cultivate Charlottesville is a group that showcases urban agriculture in the Charlottesville area. In 2020, the group emerged as the umbrella group for agricultural and food justice entities.

Consolidation with other groups

In 2020, the group merged with the City Schoolyard Garden, the Urban Agriculture Collective of Charlottesville, and the Food Justice Network. [citation needed]

Food Equity Initiative

Charlottesville City Council approved $65,000 for the initiative at its meeting on October 15, 2018. [2]

The group presented the results of their Food Equity Initiative in November 2021. [3]
