Background

The Piedmont Family YMCA's partnership with the Crozet park was official in early May. A dome allowing the facility to be used year round was installed in late September 2012. [1] The dome was funded in part by a $200,000 contribution from Albemarle County's capital improvement program. [2] [3] The dome was installed by Yeadon Fabric Structures of Ontario, Canada. Soon after the dome was installed, some neighbors began to express concerns about noise. [4]
