Crozet Elementary School is one of two elementary schools that serve the Crozet designated growth area in western Albemarle County. It is part of the Western feeder pattern[citation needed].
The current principal is Gwedette Crummie.
A new sidewalk to the school will be built in early 2012 because of a $190,000 Safe Routes to School grant from the federal government. [1]
