Clean Commute Day is an annual event sponsored by the Commuter Information Team, a consortium of area transit organizations. People are asked to pledge to use an alternative form of transportation at least one day during the spring. Those who take the pledge are eligible for prizes. The next event will be held on May 7, 2010[1].
