City Walk is a planned 302-unit residential development in Charlottesville to be built just north of the CSX railroad tracks between the area of 10th Street Northeast and Carlton Road[1]. The project, which is being developed by Coran Capshaw's Redlight Management, originally had been more mixed used in nature.

The development is being done by-right. The final site plan has been approved, but a building permit has not yet been approved.[2]
Construction could get underway early in 2012.[3] An Atlanta company, Metzger & Company, has been hired to do the work.
The original site plan also depicted at least one nine-story building, but that was later scaled back.[4]
Water Street will be extended as part of the project and a multiuse trail will be built.[3]
