Christian Schoenewald is a former chair of the Albemarle County Republican Party. He served as chair from March, 2008 until March, 2010. Schoenewald served as a Vice-Chairman prior to being elected Chairman. He was also a Vice-Chairman on the Virginia 5th District Republican Committee. He was the Republican candidate for the Jack Jouett district in 2005. He is married to Rachel Schoenewald .[1]
