Mural on West Main

The Charlottesville Mural Project is an endeavor to bring colorful paintings to the built environment in Albemarle County and Charlottesville. The initiative was launched in 2011 by the Bridge Progressive Arts Initiative. Fifteen murals have been installed since then. Locations include Buford Middle School, Starr Hill Brewery, Southwood Mobile Home Park and Fitzgerald's Tires in downtown Belmont.

Greg Kelly became the group's executive director.
