The Charlottesville Area Community Foundation (CACF) is a permanent endowment with a stated mission to improve the quality of life in Charlottesville, Albemarle County, and the surrounding counties of Greene, Orange, Louisa, Fluvanna, Buckingham, and Nelson.

Grantmaking history

In fiscal 2009, the CACF provided $4.2 million in grants[1].
