Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors
The Charlottesville Area Association of REALTORS (CAAR) is a trade association for real estate professionals in the Charlottesville area, which CAAR defines as Charlottesville, Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson Counties.
Anne Gardner became the new chief executive officer on October 11, 2010[citation needed].
CAAR publishes the Real Estate Weekly, a publication whose office is moving[when?] to C-Ville Weekly.

2009 endorsements
In 2009 CAAR endorsed Rodney Thomas (R) for the Rio seat on the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors, and Duane Snow for the Samuel Miller District seat. In Charlottesville, CAAR endorsed Dave Norris (D) and Kristin Szakos (D) for the Charlottesville City Council[2][3].
