Activities

1991

The group encouraged the expansion of recycling across Charlottesville, development of a Materials Recovery Facility, charging for commercial trash collection, and providing financial incentives for companies to recycle. [1]

In July, representative Drake Fink opposed proposed fees for dumpsters on the basis that everyone should pay for solid waste via volume. [2]
