Charles Winn was an owner of the Belle Mont Estate from 1820 to his death in 1836. [1]

History

Winn was a prominent postmaster and merchant who purchased the estate in 1820. He also owned land in Court Square near the Eagle Hotel. After his death, the land remained under his family's care until it was auctioned in 1847.
