Charles P. Nash was a former member of the Charlottesville City Council in the 1940's. [1] In 1948, he originally said he would run for re-election but changed his mind. [2]

Nash stepped down from Council in 1943 to enter military service in WW2. He was reappointed in 1946 to fill out the unexpired term of William S. Hildreth. [3]
