Chad Ratliff is principal of Murray High School and the Community Public Charter School. He was appointed in June 2017 after serving as the Director of Innovation and Instructional Programs as Albemarle County Public Schools.

Ratliff previously was assistant director of Instruction and Innovation Projects for Albemarle County Public Schools. He was appointed to that position by the Albemarle County School Board on August 13, 2009.[1]

Ratliff was named one of the "Top 20 Under 40" emerging leaders by the Blue Ridge Business Journal[2], is a seven-time Wrestling Coach of the Year recipient[3], and a three-time Most Influential Educator honoree.[3] He serves on several educational boards and was selected to participate in the 2010-2011 CNE Board Development Academy [4].

Ratliff received an M.B.A. from Virginia Tech, an M.Ed. from the University of Virginia, and a B.S. from Old Dominion University.[1]
