The Canine Clipper Dog Grooming and Boarding is a business in Albemarle County established in 1990[1] that offers boarding and grooming services. The service operated for 13 years without the necessary special use permit before an anonymous complaint to the county triggered a review. The Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the permit at its meeting on September 8, 2010[citation needed]. The Board received many letters of support in favor of the permit, but no letters against. The owner is Amy Pelonquin.
