The Camelot Wastewater Treatment Plant is a water treatment plant on U.S. Route 29 north of Charlottesville serves the area around Briarwood, the University of Virginia North Fork Research Park, and the Rivanna Station Military Base.
The Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority announced September 22, 2009 that the facility will be decommissioned before April 2013, the point when Virginia Department of Environmental Quality effluent standards will increase sharply.
