The C'ville School Food Initiative is dedicated to improving the quality of meals offered in the Charlottesville public school system[1]. The groups sees local agriculture as one way to accomplish that goal. Different entities such as the Local Food Hub are working to connect locally grown food with schools. The Buford Schoolyard Garden Project is an educational resource that has been used to promote both local agriculture and eating healthy.
