Burnley-Moran Elementary School is a fully accredited child-centered school serving approximately 300 students in preschool through grade four. The student/teacher ratio is 20:1. [1] Their mascot is a bobcat.[1]
Burnley-Moran Elementary School is located in the north-eastern portion of Charlottesville.
Elizabeth Korab became the principal before the start of the 2018-2019 school year. [2]
History
Burnley-Moran opened in 1954. It takes its name from the first two women to head Charlottesville schools.
