The Buford Schoolyard Garden Project is a non-profit organization working Buford Middle School to provide an experiential learning environment for city middle school students. The garden is a resource to support academics, for guidance in making healthy food choices, and to offer opportunities for mentoring, collaboration and friendship[1].
Linda Winecoff is the program coordinator.
The Buford Schoolyard Garden Project is a participant in the 2010 Design Marathon sponsored by the Charlottesville Community Design Center.
