Brookville Restaurant was established in June 2010 on the eastern end of Charlottesville's Downtown Mall. They focused on meals made of locally grown ingredients.[1]

The chef is Harrison Keevil, who once described the place this way: "Picture an English Gastropub married to a Greasy Spoon Diner, who happened to fool around on the side with a French Bistro, and that is what we serve at Brookville." [2]

Brookville was located in the space above Escafé. Bebedero replaced it.

It closed in 2016. [3]
