Brian Vanyo applied to fill the Samuel Miller Magisterial District seat on the Albemarle County School Board that was vacated by Eric Strucko in 2015. He also filed to run in the special election for the seat, which is anticipated for November 3, 2015. Professionally, Vanyo is an intelligence officer with the Defense Intelligence Agency[1].
