Jaymie L. "Brad" Sheffield was elected to the Albemarle Board of Supervisors on November 5, 2013. [1] He is the assistant director of JAUNT. He announced his campaign to run for the Democratic nomination for the Rio District seat on the Board of Supervisors on April 23, 2013. [2] Sheffield raised $7,760 between April and May 29, 2013, including one $5,000 contribution from Sonjia Smith.[3]
Biography
Sheffield moved to the community in 1998 to attend the University of Virginia, where he received a masters in urban and environmental planning. He and his family left the area to work in southwest Georgia and Tallahassee, Florida before moving back to work for the Renaissance Planning Group.[4]
