Formed February 8, 2002[1], the Blue Ridge Disc Golf Club is active in the regions of Charlottesville, Albemarle, and Greene County. The club maintains two disc golf courses at Walnut Creek Park and Greene County Community Park. There are summer activities such as Tuesday night doubles at Walnut Creek and tag challenges every Saturday. The Blue Ridge Disc Golf club hosts several tournaments each year. Two notable tournaments are the annual fall two day Mountain Jam and the winter Ice Bowl.
