The Birdwood Golf Course is an 18-hole course designed in the early 1980's by landscape architect Lindsay Ervan [1]. The course is built on the former Birdwood Estate and is located off of Route 250 where it is closely affiliated with the Boar's Head Inn.

The course is owned by the University of Virginia Foundation.

A new course designed by Love Golf Design was opened in July 2020. [2]
