Bill Fritz is Chief of Special Projects for Albemarle County.[1] His work has included revising the county's regulations of cell phones and critical slopes, as well as the county's site plan approval process.[2]

Background
Fritz was born in Dade County, Florida, grew up in South Florida, Key West, Pennsylvania, and Richmond. He earned a B.S. in geography from Mary Washington College in 1987. Fritz began working as a planner for the county in 1988. He dedicates his leisure time to wine and beer making, beekeeping, and gardening.[2]
