Amy Laufer is a candidate for the Democratic nomination for the Charlottesville City Council in the June 13, 2017 primary. Amy Laufer announced on Feb. 28. [1]

Laufer is a city school board member who was elected to the Charlottesville School Board in the 2011 election. [2][3]

She won reelection to a second term in November 2015. [4]
