Part of a 11.99 acre property (Parcels A, B & C), this 7.9 acre developed parcel runs parallel to the open area of Pollock's Branch creek. Pollock's Branch drains into Moore's Creek at Jordan Park to the south.

Built in 1981, the existing 58-unit residential apartment and community resource center development, named South First Street, is one of several sites managed by Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority (CRHA) for the exclusive use of low income families, seniors, and disabled individuals.
