422 East Main Street, also known as the A&N Building, is a one-story, 2,400-square-foot building built in 1920, located on Charlottesville's downtown mall. It is currently occupied by a restaurant called Passiflora. [1].

Previous tenants

  • A&N Clothing (left in 2006)For many years, the tenant was the A&N clothing store, but they moved out in 2006.[2]
  • Temporary art gallery called JohnSarahJohn (2010)
  • In September 2011, Restaurateur Alex George turned the space into a restaurant called the Commonwealth Restaurant & Skybar. [3]
