The 250 Bypass Commuter Trail is a pedestrian and cyclist route under construction that will allow travel next to the U.S. Route 250 Bypass through Charlottesville. The project is being built in pieces with much of the funding coming from the Virginia Department of Transportation's transportation alternatives program. [1] [2]

Funding

The project was funded in part through a $414,000 transportation enhancement grant from the Virginia Department of Transportation. [3]
