Voters will select three members of the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors and two members of the Charlottesville City Council in 2013.

The general election will be held on November 5, 2013.

Albemarle County

The seats currently held by Dennis Rooker, Rodney Thomas, and Duane Snow will all be up for reelection. Thomas announced on December 5, 2012 that he will run for a second-term.

Charlottesville

The seats held by Dave Norris and Kristin Szakos will be up for reelection. Szakos has indicated she will be a candidate, whereas Norris has not. [1]

Special election for treasurer

Judge Edward Hogshire has ruled that the city must hold a special election for treasurer. This will be held on April 2, 2013. [2]
