Voters in Charlottesville went to the polls to elect two members of City Council in the 1950 election held on June 13.

Mayor Gus K. Tebel and William R. Hill were chosen in the Democratic primary. Francis Fife ran as an independent. Tebel and Hill both won election.

The League of Women Voters held a town meeting with the candidates on June 7, 1950. [1]
