The Young Building is a former J.S. Young Company factory located at 1102 Carlton Avenue in Belmont. The company produced wood dyes for the tanning process in this building.[1]
The building is one of Charlottesville's individually protected properties. [2].
Shortly before his death, Preston Coiner was working on restoring the building. [3]
