William J. Vanderkloot, Jr. (1915 - 2000) was the pilot for Winston Churchill during World War II. He briefly attended the University of Virginia but was on probation at the second term of its 110th session. [1]
In a report on enrollment numbers for the second term of the 110th's session at UVA, the Charlottesville Daily Progress described him a "pugilitic marvel."
