William Lucy (1939 - 2016) was a Professor of Urban and Environmental Planning at the University of Virginia and former member and Chair of the Charlottesville Planning Commission. He is the co-author of the book Tomorrow’s Cities Tomorrow’s Suburbs, published in 2006 by the American Planning Association[1]. [2]

Lucy served on the Board of Directors for the group Advocates for a Sustainable Albemarle Population[3].
