The Wertland Street Architectural Design Control District is one of the City of Charlottesville's architectural design control districts. The district was established by Charlottesville City Council in 1999 and overlays the Wertland Street National Register Historic District. [1]

Namesake
The street and the district are both named for William Wertenbaker, the second librarian at the University of Virginia. He built 1301 Wertland Street.
