Virginia Foundation for the Humanities

The Virginia Foundation for the Humanities "connects people and ideas to explore the human experience and inspire cultural engagement." [1] They sponsor many events including the Festival of the Book and Encyclopedia Virginia. The organization was formed in 1974. [2]

Funding

In July, the VFH announced that Encyclopedia Virginia received a $1 million gift. [3]
