University Avenue is the short portion of U.S. Route 250 Business that passes in front of the University of Virginia and forms the center of The University Corner.

University Avenue becomes West Main Street at eastern end, travels west through the corner, then in front of the Rotunda and Carr's Hill, until it intersects Emmet Street and becomes Ivy Road.
