UVA Alumni Association

The UVA Alumni Association is a non-profit organization that cultivates an on-going sense of spirit for people who attended the University of Virginia and raises funds for the public institution.

The headquarters are at Alumni Hall at 211 Emmett Street South.

History

The UVA Alumni Association was formed on July 4, 1838 and received a charter in 1873 as the Society of Alumni of the University of Virginia. The current name has been in place since 1922. [1]
